Other Names: Golden Shower, India Laburnum, Purging Fistula, Pudding-pipe Tree, Golden Rain, Canafistola, Casse
Information

This plant can grow and reach heights up to 15m. It has yellow flowers dangle.

Local use

Used to treat diseases related to diabetes, fever, low blood pressure, gastric diseases, leprosy and fungal-related diseases.

Poisoned

Toxic parts: the sticky part on a crust that contains legumes (pods), seed nuts, leaves and stems.
Active Substance: Emodin glycoside, chrysarobin                                                                                  
Other ingredients: amino acids, fatty acids and amino chrysophanik

Effects of Poisoning

Cause nausea, vomiting, seizures and drowsiness.
