Malay name: Pokok Ipoh, Pokok Upas
Other names: Upas tree
Information

This plant is hard and woody branching. It can reach heights up to more than 50m. The plant is supported by a large root and stem Banir a circumference of more than one meter.

It also has an oval-shaped leaves, simple and alternately arranged. The shape 'pear', dark red that will turn to black when ripe.

Effects of Poisoning

Among the signs of poisoning are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, visual disturbances, headache, fatigue, feeling confused, trembling body, mind and seizure disorders. It can also cause a weak heart, decreased blood pressure, heart failure and subsequent death.
