Name: Chika Mas
Other Names: Indian Nettle, Kuppi And Dadaro, Indian Acalypha

Information

Vegetation types of shrubs with a height of 0.5-10 meters. Green leaves, arranged alternately smooth and measuring 3-4 cm long and 2-3 cm wide.

Use

Used in treating skin diseases like ringworm and scabies. It is also used to treat ulcers, and used by people in India as drugs to stimulate vomiting.

Toxic Part: Entire plant
Active Ingredients: Acalyphin (a sianogenik glycoside) and acid Hydrosianik
Other Ingredients: Diterpene esters

Effects of Poisoning

The main symptoms of poisoning which is indicated by nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. When ingested in high doses sianogeik glycoside poisoning symptoms can be seen as headaches, drowsiness, not to focus (disorientation), can not respond, tired, unconscious, weak limbs, convulsions and coma.

If contact with skin, it can cause irritation or dermatitis.

Emergency treatment

Clean the remaining plants and if ingested, seek medical attention
